Stability or cushioning? Cushioning or stability? With the new women's guide ISO 2, The answer is “yes please!” the pwrfoam midsole and Everun top sole combine to give you energetic cushioning while the 2ND density medial post guides the foot through its natural gait cycle. An engineered jacquard, breathable mesh upper, is of it construction, and form fit contoured footbed are just a few ways you’ll dial in the Custom Fit that you’ve been searching for in a stability running Shoe. The guide ISO 2 is also helpful for runners who suffer from mild to severe pronation, or the over rotation of the ankle. The Saucony ProGrid Ride is a flexible, neutral running shoe with lots of cushioning and style. Featuring ProGrid with Respon-Tek technology to absorb impact and dissipate shock, SRC impact zones for a smooth transition, and an Impulse EVA midsole for shock attenuation and comfort, this runner is ready for some serious sessions even if your little one isn't. It's lightweight rubber outsole provides great traction, while premium sockliners made of moisture-wicking, anti-microbial Ortholite help keep feet cool and comfortable. Saucony is among the most respected names in running shoes. They offer a wide range of running and walking shoes, each with the Saucony trademark fit, feel, and performance. They've spent years studying the biomechanics of top athletes because the goal is to develop creatively engineered systems that maximize your performance, allowing you to focus on the activity instead of the equipment. From studies have come many innovative Saucony concepts. Advanced technologies like Grid, the first sole-based stability and cushioning system, provide an advantage to athletes of all types. First of all, I am average in every sense of the word. I'm no star athlete, not really overweight, I just decided that my twenties aren't a good time for me to be out of shape. Upon this realization, I recently started jogging everyday, and after running about 2 miles a day for the first week in my old shoes, my shins and knees would KILL me, so much that it made me feel discouraged and I stopped running. Then, one day with a swift breeze of inspiration, I decided that hey, maybe a new pair of shoes could turn things around for me. I did a TON of research on running shoes, because I'm really cheap and if I'm spending a decent amount of money on something like running shoes I'm going to make sure they're exactly right. I saw these and based on the positive reviews I purchased them with next day shipping and alas, here they are! First off, with the pink they are really cute (not that that matters but hey, the little things make you feel cute when you're sweating like a pig.) Once I put them on I could immediately tell a big difference from my last shoes, which were cheap ones that I got from a department store years ago. The cushioning is great, and they just have a really nice fitted feel overall. I could really feel the support on my low arch. One thing I will say is that I noticed A LOT of people recommending to "size up" at least half of size...I'm glad I didn't! I wear a 9 in other shoes and purchased these in a 9 and they fit pretty close to perfectly. They're nice and tight around my ankle and snug through the length of my foot. Some people might not like this narrowness but I feel like it gives me more support, its not overbearing or anything. I did notice I seemed to have a little bit of extra room in the toe area but that isn't necessarily bad thing. If I would have gone a half size bigger than they would have been WAY too big in the toe area, with the size I got its a little big but comfortable. If your foot is really really wide, these probably aren't for you, but if you have an average to just a smidge wide foot like me, I think they're perfect. Overall a great stability shoe for the average runner with the average foot! I'm very pleased with these lovely little Saucony's!
