I started reading the Erevis Cale trilogy in preparation for the new sundering novel by Paul Kemp and now I'm hooked. This is the first installment to the Twilight War trilogy and it was an awesome read. It picks up a couple of years after the defeat of the sojourner and Cale, Magadon, and Riven seem happy and settled in their new lives. Their peaceful existence doesn't last long, however. The Shadovar are back in Faerun and they want to reclaim what they lost thousands of years ago. This puts them in direct conflict with our heroes as you will find. Lots of action and very tight plot make this book a real page turner.
