I bought one of these several years ago and have recommended it to several friends. This was a gift for a friend. It is the Bible in Chronological order. It is shorter than the actual Bible so if you have had trouble completing a reading of the Bible in the past, this is the item for you. It puts things in the order it actually happened. Some verses are either left out or combined when you had duplicate accounts of a particular miracle or event but the other scriptures are referenced in the margin so you know where this info comes from. The thing I love the most about this Bible is the intro paragraph before a major event that gives you a little bit of history and background knowledge so you know what was going on at the time. I have even used these introduction paragraphs in devotionals I have given before reading the scripture. This particular friend called me after Christmas and said, "I never knew the Bible was not written in the order it happened. This is making so much more sense to me. Thank you so much for this gift." She has told me several times this year how much she looks forward to her devotional time each morning.. I am so glad that Kindle now offers this book in their program as my eyesight isn't what it used to be. I now read it on my iPad instead of out of the book since the print is rather small. I do not know if a large print version is available.Update: 9-26-15 I continue to look up scriptures in this Bible and read them there instead of in my other Bible because each section of a scripture is divided with headings letting you know when the voice has changed or giving you a detail that lets you know, hey, something different is going on here. My readings make so much more sense the way this Bible is organized. There is an index in the back of the Bible that lets you find any book and chapter by page number. This is so helpful when using as a reference.
