This is my initial review.I am not a professional tree cutter. I bought this to process firewood for personal use.I needed a bigger more powerful saw. My research led me to consider a "clone" saw from Farmertec. I opted for the 71cc G372XT pictured here next to my Husqvarna 450E Rancher. I've installed a 28" bar with a 3/8" 0.058, 93L Chain, both purchased from Husqvarna.I set my expectations knowing this was a "Made in China" saw. When it arrived, the exterior of the box was a little rough, but nothing that would lead me to think the contents inside was damaged. The saw (power unit only) was pretty well protected with bubble wrap. There did appear to be one area of "drop" damage, at the lower bumper spike and chain catcher, but included in the accessories, you get a larger set of spikes anyway. I did a little work with a vise to straighten the chain catcher so no real big deal.I examined the saw thoroughly looking for loose hardware or any other signs of damage. The choke control where it attaches to the carburetor linkage was disconnected. It's plastic and even after attaching is very loose. I used aviation style safety wire to keep it from coming off repeatedly. This IS a weak spot. The throttle linkage cable was also disconnected so that had to be connected. The hardware bolts that were removed to access the air filter/carburetor area were poor quality. The allen wrench supplied did not fit well to the bolts. These were easily replaced with better bolts from a "big box" hardware store. This will likely be done over time with other hardware as req'd.Attaching the bar, installing the chain, and setting my initial adjustments was pretty straight forward. The manual gives an oil adjustment setting based on the bar length. When it was time to oil and fuel the saw, I'd note taking care with the tank caps. They do fit, but feel they could easily become damaged and potentially leak.It took a little effort to get the saw started the very first time. With a 32:1 mixture, I used a little starting fluid to aid the process. Once started, the saw ran smooth and sounded strong. I made some initial cuts and the saw performed as expected. It cut easily and smoothly all the while not running hard for extended periods to aid in the break in process.I have several large trees already on the ground that need to be cut and split. I will likely return to this review with updates as I work the saw in and get use to it's characteristics. My "rating" is only a starting point and will go up or down as I work the saw.Given the cost and my anticipated frequency of use, I would say my expectations have been met.
