I took a gamble and purchased this back in March 2019 when it had 0 reviews because it was the only bookshelf I could find in this size and color that didn't sacrifice the quality of its materials for a smaller size. Everything else I found in similar dimensions used thin composite wood and was usually priced around $80 or below. I opted for this one since it looked like it could withstand the combined weight of the books and various other objects that were originally taking up space around the same room.Took only a few hours to assemble alone on carpeted floor in a pretty tiny space without much trouble. One of the pegs it was supposed to include was missing but when you get to the part of its assembly where you finally put in the shelves the pegs are distributed along the interior in such a way that one missing didn't really matter that much. However, if more were missing that would be another story.I've only placed more and more on this bookshelf over the past 9 months and it still feels just as sturdy as it did upon initial assembly. I'd say it's served its purpose well thus far.
