Hiked in colorado last month with these and they were super comfortable.Been having a bit of an ankle issue, so these looked promising for giving support. They performed well in this regard, but are also lightweight, well-made, look good, and were on sale. Have worn them in the Himalaya and Denali NP and on flatland - good for any outing.I looked for a good pair of boots for months. I ordered several and all did not fit well and were uncomfortable. These EB shoes fit comfortablly. I recommend.These boots are well made, light, and tough; exactly what I need for Western hunts where a lot of walking is involved. For many years, I’ve bought Danner hunting boots, decided to buy these after a friend bought a pair last year. I usually wear a size 11, but bought size 11.5; they fit really well, and my feet don’t shift around, which is what I need for mountainous hikes.
