I really want to like this night cream . . . and I do to a certain extent, but I'm not sure its the best choice for my skin type.For reference I am in my 40's with fair, freckled, skin and a dry/combination skin type.What I love about this cream is how wonderful it looks and feels when first applied. It has a light scent that is calming and it instantly soothes my skin while imparting a lovely satin matte finish that evens my tone considerably.What I don't love about this cream is that my skin always feels a little dry and tight in the morning after using this. My skin also looks a little dry and my wrinkles more pronounced the morning after. I do not have that problem with my other "usual" night creams. I thought perhaps it required an adjustment period, so I have used this alternating nights for several months now and I do not see an improvement in its performance or my skin's reaction to it. I have no choice really but to conclude that this isn't the best choice for me.
