I ordered a small blue version of this jacket. I was really confused about what jacket i was actually going to be receiving because amazon has a different picture of the blue one that all other sites (shown on other sites with green zips). It is just like the pic you see here. It turns out the one on Columbia's website is wrong. The jacket is flattering and seems warm but I haven't really tested that yet. I love the extended cuffs! My only complaint is that the inside is not a nice as soft as similar jackets because of the Omni-heat I guess. But if it works like they say it does and this relatively thin jacket keeps me warm in the Peruvian Andes it is well worth the softness sacrifice. Overall I am very satisfied. I hope this review helps bc i couldn't find any reviews before I bought mine. I cant understand why its not more popular.quick note: if you look at the features on the Columbia site it says that the jacket has a removable hood and internal key clip... It does not have these features. This jacket is the PERFECT shield against wind and rain! I had to walk to my car in the pouring rain this morning while wearing this jacket and a) I am completely b) the jacket is dry (repels water very well). If you are looking for something to keep you warm, this is NOT the jacket! It will definitely need a fleece layered underneath to conquer cold AND rain, but that being said, it handles rain like a dream. My only complaint would be the sleeves are a little long on me, which makes the thumbholes not nearly as handy, but I still use them and scrunch up the sleeves.I almost didn't buy this because of people talking about how thin and it doesn't keep them as warm as they thought...Idk what they were expecting (it's not a parka). I got this on sale for $60 and totally worth every penny, I would even pay full price. I bought a windstopper Black Diamond jacket for $140 and I think this is better than that. Only complaint is the stitching on the cuffs came lose within weeks, but it really doesn't effect it, not sure why they are on there in the first place.I bought this coat for Chicago fall, and it just did not keep me warm enough or protect from the wind. I don't think that this is a reflection of the jacket which is really cute, fits and is made well, but it was not getting the job done in windy below 50 temps so I had to return it.I purchased this jacket for my wife. So far, she has worn it frequently on cool fall days and has found it to fit her comfortably. She loves the green color and that it's not very heavy. It's a super-nice quality jacket that protects very well from the wet and windy elements, but not too much from the cold. It's best on it's own as a fall and spring jacket, and suitable as an outer layer if you wear it in winter/snow conditions. I would definitely recommend it.Not as warm as I expected, but great light jacket for windy days. I'm from Upstate New York, and I wear it if the temperature is above 20°.I love this jacket! I usually wear a small but the extra small fit me a lot better for this jacket however I cannot fit a bulky hoodie under. Overall this coat looks great and is very comfortableThe Columbia Women's Guide Ride Softshell Jacket fits great with a little more room to move. I went to Alaska (in summer) and this jacket kept me warm. It is light weight but very warm. I am on my second one!
