M1 Carbine Rifle: History, Specs & Buying Guide | Best for Collectors, Hunters & Shooting Enthusiasts

This book is a must have for anyone collecting and identifying the variations of the M1 carbine oroduced by all of the manufacturers during WW2.I have not had the chance to enjoy the contents in full at this moment.I have several books on the Carbine but this one fills a gap in my library. I Like the way you can go to a specific model carbine and find most of the information you may be looking for. I Also like the photography the author has used throughout the book. I don't feel the author has plagerized others work as I think I read in another review. While it may be a little pricey for some, I feel it is worth the extra cost if you own several carbines.The way of presenting pictured information is very helpful. I have found some inaccurate information but all books on this subject have some. There seem to be many exceptions to every rule about carbines. Because most of the information is derived from pictures of actual carbines I cannot understand why anyone would say that this book contains inaccurate information and incorrect pictures. Such information cannot be substantiated by example. I would recommend it for any carbine collector.LDIf you are really into M1 Carbines, this the book to have. The book is well designed, has many pictures and should help any Carbine enthusiast determine the proper components required for each make of Carbine, i.e. IBM, Inland, Winchester, etc.THIS IS THE BEST BOOK, THE BIBLE ON THE M1 CARBINE!!!
