You can check the method in figure 4 to measure the angle of your stairs and if your stairs are not included in 30 to 35 degrees（but included in 25 to 40 degrees）, you can adjust the angle with 5° sloping spacer PA31
Code compliance This rectangle cable railing post is designed with 3" cable spacing. Generally, the span between two structural posts should not exceed 4 feet to pass the 4" sphere test. It is important to consult local building offices about the rules since there might be different requirements in some states
