My daughters love Saucony as a running shoe for cross country and track training.I love Saucony shoes. They've been my go-to for years. During the pandemic I've mostly worn strappy sandals or flip-flops around my house. Hence, my feet have gotten wider. So I've been shopping for a new pair of Saucony's in a wide, not my previous medium. I've had to try numerous styles because, although they all were ordered in the same size (7) and width (W), each one was different. The Guide 13 is a good shoe, but the wide wasn't all that wide. I'm one on those people who needs a wide (and now, even wider) toe box and a narrow heel. I did find a great fit finally - it's the Saucony Echelon 8. Super shoe for a wide foot. Highly recommended. It was the most expensive of the five pairs I tried, but the quality and fit are worth it.I needed a pair of new running shoes and Saucony has always been the brand that fits me best. I usually find a favorite, then when I go to replace them down the road I can’t find the ones I love! When they come out with “new & improved” versions of the same shoe, they’re never truly the same and not always better. When I couldn’t find my original faves, I decided to try these. All I can say is, they are perfect FOR ME! So perfect that I immediately purchased a second pair.Size is true, support is great, and they are very comfortable and well-made.2 long runs a week - 16 and 13 miles. Wide feet - SOOOOO hard to find shoes. These are not pretty, but they work. My only complaint is that after 11-12 miles or so I sometimes get a bit of foot pain on the outside near my little toe. Don't understand why people with wide feet have to wear ugly shoes - can't we have some fun colors too?!?I have been using the Saucony Guide as a running shoe for years. I love them, they are comfortable, long lasting, and have great support. I run 40-50 miles a week in them and have never had a problem.I was unsure of the comfort for the first two or three times that I wore these jogging/walking. This brand has always fit my foot well, but I was shocked at the upgrade from my previous styles. These provided excellent cushion and support. These were also much lighter than the previous style I have owned. I have been using these 4 - 5 times a week over the last month and am very pleased with all aspects of this shoe. It may be silly but the shoestrings are a great change from other styles as well. They are flat and not rounded. They stay tied and have just enough give that they support different angles of my foot when jogging.Exactly the size and shape I expected for saucony. Would prefer more support for pronation. The Grid line was great but no longer produced and this is a fine alternative.Relieved my foot and knee painNot worth the money. I have had two pairs of these previously and these tore on the top literally a few weeks after wearing them- and I don't even wear them frequently. I paid a lot of money for these and am very disappointed in the poor quality of these shoes. One of the main reasons I replaced the old ones was because of the tear on the side of the shoes and it's happened again! Not buying Saucony ever again. Very angry this has happened. Not sure if these were even legit to have happened but not buying no more from this manufacturer or brand.I bought these as I have wide forefeet and always get pain in the joint of my big toe (1st MTP) if I wear tight shoes. These were perfect straight out of the box, no blisters and at a half size larger not too tight for me a G width foot.XCame earlier than expected which was brilliant. Had bought these on a hoilday in america previous so new they were a good product. Fitted perfectly and has a great grip. A great buy!Fantastic, really comfortable and supportive
