I make a lot of tiny jewelry charms and such. I also have no storage space. So I buy a lot of little sample sizes of filament, so I can have a lot of colors available for my tiny prints. The Paramount samples here on Amazon are some great colors -- this one, Great Depression Jadeite Green (see my pics), is a color probably not available anywhere else. And the colors even have a Pantone number!However, something about the winding of this sample made it kink up badly. Since I have so many tiny sample sizes, I am used to using them without an actual spool, and it usually works fine. This time, while printing my own sample (the one in the pictures that looks like a 35mm slide), the entire roll kinked and jumped off the spool holder, tangled so badly that I had to cut it into two sections and try to fix it. I am not sure if it will give me trouble as I try to use the rest now.I don't know if the larger sizes that come on an actual spool would have this problem, but this sample, at least, seems to have been rolled really weirdly. Anyway, I will try another color and cross my fingers it doesn't happen again.One other thing is that the amount you get for this sample is not much for the price you pay. Do the math -- the sample could be a lot cheaper. It doesn't come with a spool or anything!
