These jeans are gorgeous. I tried a 27 for the first time (I have two other pairs of Paige jeans that I got in a 26, because 27 was sold out). I love transcend denim. It’s not really denim as you know it; the fabric feels more fragile, which makes sense since it’s rayon based, but the comfort is unmatchable. And, the ones I have retain their shape all day!These are long; with my 35” inseam, I can roll the hem up 1/2 to 1inch, and they still rest on the top of my foot. They’re fitted through the hips and thighs, with a straight, narrow cut through the calves. Cut high, and falling just below the belly button, the waist is a bit roomier than expected, but there’s still no gapping.I got the Mona color, which I was on the fence about. Turns out that it’s a deep, rich blue that looks rather luxurious, if you can say that about a pair of jeans. BUT color transfer is going to be an issue. The inside tags are blue, and the color rubs off very easily when you wipe it with a paper towel. Even my hands retained a little blue dye after trying these on. I haven’t washed them, but with some jeans, color transfer remains an issue after many wash cycles. I’m not sure if it’s going to be too much work to avoid wearing light colored sandals, tops, shoes, avoid sitting on light colored upholstery, and having to store and pack these separately, or near dark clothes only. They’re worth the price, but perhaps not the hassle.Please pay attention to the length of these jeans as you will have to have them tailored. Unless you’re a stork, in which case I’m very jealous of your long legs. I’m 5’7” and always thought that 33” inseam with moderate heel makes me look proportionate, but these jeans are very long. I love love love Paige jeans, but my biggest beef with them is how widely they vary from wash to wash size wise. I could be between 29 and 31, depending on a wash, I hate having to order 5 pairs of jeans to find ones that fit.I was looking for a boot cut jean that would fit my curves. I find a hard time shopping for jeans that fit my waist and don't have huge knees too. These taper in perfectly through the bottom hem. I did have to get these hemmed but I took them to Nordstroms and they shortened them for $10. So easy! I'm 5'9" and these are definitely meant for a 6ft+ person or meant to be worn with heels.Fabulous jeans, so comfortable and classy. Super long length, almost a little too long for me at 5'9", but prefer that to short and showing my ankles which looks silly on me. The fabric is great - I can wear them several times before needing to wash them as they don't bag at the knees like most other jeans, which means they're perfect for travelling.Delighted with these jeans - after reading other reviews, I was able to order confidently and the fit is perfect. High waisted cut reduces the risk of the dreaded 'muffin top', and the back pocket placement gives the wearer's bottom a visual 'lift', and I sure need that! Also the dark wash (Mona) means they have a rather dressy appearance.My first jeans in over ten years. These are like a tee shirt for your legs and seat. Love. I am 5-8 with long legs and these are long enough to wear over my 3" heel Frye boots. I will be back for more Paige denim.I love these jeans!! The fit and fabric are wonderful. They wash and dry easily without any shrinkage. I like the higher rise.They run true to size and the fit is perfect.....form fitting, but not skin tight. The colour is true black.this is not a straight pant at all. it's definitely flared and definitely has the inseam for someone over 5'7. however, superbly comfortable and thank god flared jeans are making a comeback
