No longer living in New Mexico caused me to purchase uncooked chimmi’s from Allsup’s and stick them in a cooler and bring them back to Colorado. (There is no discount for buying uncooked chimmi’) The last time I purchased them to go, I saw the box they came out of and quickly took a picture. A quick search led me the Posada Shredded Beef Chimichanga item on Amazon. Wondering if this was indeed the same product Allsup’s uses I confirmed the UPC code on the box from Allsup’s and it matched the product details on Amazon. I ordered them and they showed up in 3 days! They came shipped in a Styrofoam lined box with a ton of dry ice. I opened them up and they were still frozen. I immediately thawed two out and cooked them in my fryer for 4 minutes. They came out looking and smelling like an Allsup’s chimni. Now came the taste test. After letting them cool down, I put some taco sauce on one and took a bite. There is no doubt that these are the same product Allsup’s uses and they taste amazing! These are the real deal!
