The sizing is off in the pair I received.I love the look of these shoes and the color was PERFECT. Unfortunately, these did not fit as expected. I have been wearing Clark's for many years and I can always count on a consistent fit. Whether it is pump, boot, bootie or sandal, I know that I can always comfortably wear any Clark's 8.5 shoe. There are many other national brands that are not as consistent in their sizing and I have not been able to count on the same size fitting well between styles of the same brand - which is why I stick to Clark's for quality and consistency especially if I am ordering online.To my surprise, however, these did not fit. They felt to be at least 1/2 size if not a full size too big. Initially I thought they wrong size had been accidentally sent, but both shoes were marked 8.5. I asked my daughter who also wears 8.5 and frequently wears my Clark's to try them on and she too felt they were noticeably too big.My daughter was so surprised to find an 8.5 Clark that was so large on her feet that she decided to look at these shoes carefully to make sure they weren't "counterfeit" and carefully compared them to several other Clark shoes that I own. She was not able to notice any differences. They look like my other Clark's and the leather feels great. As far as I can tell these really are Clark's and I have similarly made Clark's shoes with the same heel/base in 8.5 that do fit so my conclusion is that either this particular pair must have been mis-marked as 8.5 or that this particular style is for some reason the one style that does not follow the otherwise consistent Clark's sizing.They quality of the shoe was great. Color perfect and shipping FAST. Unfortunately, I'm returning them because of the off sizing. They are too big to wear. Too bad because this color is hard to find.
