It works well with this guide, but there is no notch on the saw to slide it in (like with the plunge-cut styles). As you can see in the pictures it fits perfectly held against one of the ridges, with good blade clearance. It takes more interaction since there's not a notch to hold it in place both ways (you have to press/hold it against the side), but it works great. I was skeptical about this purchase however after trimming 3/16 off 4 bi-fold doors the cuts were ded on throughout the entire length. No belly or hump in the middle, just perfect. After setting on my makita track saw and adjusting the play it was snug the entire length of the track. The splice kit was machined perfect . This is a excellent product and I highly recommend it . Tracks are lighter weight and seem to be thinner than OEM Makita tracks, but they work well enough and fit Makita saws perfectly.I was able to cut four whole sheets of 7/16 OSB with one cut using the two tracks connected together. Came out perfectly straight. Clamping the tracks down is not required, they are tacky enough on their own, but there are slots for clamps if you need precision accuracy.Good price for the length of track, although spending more for OEM tracks may be worthwhile due to the rigidity and thicker aluminum.
