You have probably heard the story that you can stick a square peg in a round hole well this product proves it. Why they made the metal post square and the PVC round makes no sense. While I can see them better than what I had they don't float up as the trailer goes down in the water. I have tried using a marine grade lubricant and while it works at first to help the PVC slide up and down it has to be reapplied. The product would work much better if the metal post were round.
