I've cooked 4 out of the 6 so far, and they have all been excellent. The steaks were well packaged and arrived quickly, have a good texture and taste. There is nothing in the main description (you have to look for it in the product details), Item Weight : 8 OuncesTake them out of the freezer the night before and put in the fridge, by the next evening are thawed. The description says to cook at 400F for 15 minutes? That seems to be far too long to me.I take the thawed steak out of the fridge about an hour before cooking so that it can come to room temp.I pre-heat the oven at 400, and using a cast iron skillet, melt clarified butter and olive oil on an induction cook top (but you can use the stove), and preheat until you start to see the butter starting to smoke. Dry the steak with paper towels and season the steak to your liking, (I use the included seasoning and just a light sprinkle of red cayenne pepper,) and sear the steaks in the hot skillet on all 6 sides. (This is mainly to sear/seal the steak on all sides and to give it a good appearance.), then immediately place in the oven. Regardless of the oven being set on bake or broil, at 5 minutes I turn the steak(s) over, and cook for 5 more minutes. Then I remove the skillet, place on hot pads, and cover lightly in foil and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. Using a meat thermometer what I find is the steak should be cooked more or less to the level below where you want it to end up. Beef continues to cook during the rest, and the internal meat temperature will increase by 5-10 degrees. The first few times, you can leave the oven on, if after the rest time, steak is under-cooked, you can pop it back in for a minute or two. Since we are using cast iron (which retains heat) you may need to adjust here or there if using a regular skillet, and if you've never calibrated your oven, you might wanna look into doing that.We get a nice steak, cooked to 'medium'.
