The Matter of Fact Wrinkle + Texture concentrate combines retinol, vitamin c, azelaic acid and bakuchiol making this a product that takes some of the guess work out of skin care. Often I feel you see all of these different ingredients and you could end up with a counter full of serums and not knowing when to apply, which to combine and not combine, etc. This product gives you a bit of an all in one with multiples of the heavy hitters to help with anti aging, texture and dark spots. It is obvious from receiving the box that much thought was put into the presentation of this product. Attractive packaging, and the pump bottle the concentrate is in itself feels heavy and made of quality material. The product itself is like a vaseline thickness and is a semi-clear darker yellow/beige color. The smell is actually a bit odd - I get some undertones that make me think bbq sauce or campfire. You smell it for a bit if you focus on it, but otherwise its not strong and doesn't linger very long. The feeling I get when I apply it is soft and almost like a pore minimizing primer I have that makes the skin look matte. It definitely doesn't give me any oily or greasy feeling. I'm looking forward to using this for few months to see how it (hopefully) improves some of my fine lines, texture and pigment irregularities. No irritation on my skin personally so far and it feels moisturized and smooth after using. While it is expensive, I feel this will last quite a while as you only use a very small amount, the product feels good on my skin, incorporates multiple of the popular skin care ingredients and seems to be a quality made product. Overall I recommend!
