While I have worked in Electronics (hardware) and with many different computer Operating Systems over the past 30+ years, only now am I studying specifically for my A+ Certification. I chose this book to study from based on the author, who's background I am familiar with.I was more than pleasantly surprised by the amount of information in this book, and by the way in which it is presented. Not wrapped in "stories" that make the book thicker without making it better, the information (and there is a LOT of it) is presented in a clear and concise method that makes it easier to understand and retain. My opinion is there is no wasted space in this book, and I have been a consumer of technical literature for over 35 years (I am 55 as of this writing) and have a personal library spanning more than 200 books. This will certainly be a "Top Shelf" addition for me.If you are studying to take the A+ Certification exams and/or want a powerful reference, this book (or the one from this line applicable to the test you are taking) is a recommended buy. And I got mine through Amazon, for which I am additionally happy.Enjoy learning!Andrew Woodard,Charlotte, NC
