I'm 24 and born and raised 4th generation in Texas. I grew up in a predominately white community where I hardly spoke Spanish. It wasn't until college I took up the language to further entact my heritage. The Spanish I learned in school isn't near the same as Argentinian. It's like Irelands' English grammer to American, they're two worlds apart. I plan on traveling Argentina and want to be the conversationist while I'm there. The Spanish I grew up with was very formal as my grandparents were former professors. I lack the derrogative terms so to speak. This small booklet is a large stepping stone for my goals.
