It works and it does a great job for a home device but, for me I think I prefer to get the same results with my peels and actives just because it is much faster and easier.My first time using a microdermabrasion device and I’m hooked. When I first opened the box, I was a little disappointed at how simple this device looked. It sure didn’t look like a $200 product because the plastic seemed a little cheap. However, when I tried it for the first time, I saw some immediately results. First of all, it was simple to use, I only had to go through the manual once. Always start on a clean, dry face. I never knew I had so much dead skin cells on my face until I tried this. Makes my skin red after use but goes away within an hour. I feel like toners and serums absorb better after using it. I’ve been using this for a little under a month and I’m pleased with the results. I don’t love the fact that such a small device needs to be plugged in, I really wish the next version is made cordless. At $200, it’s hefty but I think it’s worth the investment.This is not difficult to use and it does a good job exfoliating old dead skin (see used filter picture). You are supposed to replace the filter after every use but this comes with a bag full of them. This set is not cheap, but it is smart to consider the price of replacement filters and how many are included when comparing prices.Note that this is not rechargeable, you have to use it while plugged in.The instructions recommends using this no more than once a week, at least to start with. The suction has different strengths and I thought the low and medium settings seemed not too bad so I used the high setting on my forehead to try to treat my light wrinkles. This lead to having my forehead looking slightly bruised the next day ? Opps. Well, it certainly has good suction. After that, I stuck to the low settings for my face.I did see a slight improvement to my skin smoothness that lasted a couple days. My skin quality varies naturally from day to day so it was difficult to know how much this helped. By the time my next weekly treatment rolled around, I could not see any difference from how I started.To summarize, I do think there was a subtle temporary improvement in my skin quality. It did remove dead skin. If that is worth the price asking price and process involved, you may want to buy this device. Just don’t expect a miracle or quick drastic improvements.This device is awesome. I swear I went to a cosmetic surgeon several years ago and he used this very same device on me and charged me 100.00 a pop. I went for acne scar treatments and spent around 500.00. The cosmetic surgeon used this device to speed up absorption rate of a special product that was applied after the dermabrasion. It worked. And this works too! With a fraction of the expense.I use this once a week with fantastic results. It is very easy to use with good, easy to understand instructions. It comes nicely packaged with everything you need including a handy caring case and also a whole bag of extra filters. (You have to change filters every time you use the device. Which is very easy to do,) I just used it two days ago and wish I had saved my filter for this review! It really sucks out your pores and it shows on the small filter! After use, when you apply your products, it really advances the product and gets it deeper into the skin. I love this microdermabrasion tool and will never be without it. It’s high quality and very simple to use. I highly recommend.I've been looking for good microdermabrasion tool for a little while now and glad I had an opportunity to try this one out. I have never used one before, there is a pamphlet included with instructions for use. I also found online videos helpful.The photos here online make this look like a rechargeable device, it is not, it has a very thick, heavy cord and must be plugged in to use. It comes with about 100 filters, which are supposed to be changed each use. The manufacturer recommends using this device once per week, per area. I've only used it on my face, and on the lowest setting.I tend to get dry skin on my cheeks that is SO obvious when I wear makeup. With just two uses, that dry skin is gone and make up looks so much better now.This is a really great device which helps you to have a smoother and softer skin. I use it couple of times and I like it a lot, I can see how my skin changes and looks younger, it removes the dead skin cells and it is a great substitute to peels which can irritate the skin. Glad I got it, my skin is so much better now.Dr. Lancer Pro Polish Microdermabrasion Device,This microdermabrasion device is super easy to use and made a huge difference in the texture of my skin. It has 3 strengths but I am only using this on the lowest one since I have sensitive skin. Make sure your face is clean and dry and gently run this over your skin while you have it pulled tight and using short strokes in an upward motion. It is really simple to use. Yes, my skin was red when I finished but it faded after I followed up with some face cream. I did use a higher setting on my nose where I have a bit more oil and issues.Since this is basically scrubbing your skin and removing dead skin cells, you don't want to do any exfoliation or acid peels for a few days before or after. Again, I can't believe how easy this is to use and the results are almost immediate. My skin feels so much softer the texture looks a lot better. I was always afraid to try a treatment like this at home but this works and is fairly gentle.
