ABOUT US In 2002, Minus33 was created by textile engineers from L. W. Packard & Co. Inc. L. W. Packard has been involved in just about every aspect of the wool industry, and a proud family-owned business since 1916. In 1995, L.W. Packard was selected by Textile World magazine as one of the top 10 textile plants in the world. Since our family history is rooted in the wool industry, combined with our genuine passion for the outdoors, it only made sense for Minus33 to emerge as a merino wool clothing brand. Sportsman Shirt We brought back an old-time favorite. The Sportsman shirt has been designed to be more soft and comfortable when wearing it on your next outing. This shirt comes in 2 buffalo plaid colors and a solid charcoal gray color. Designed with 80% wool and 20% recycled polyester. WHY MERINO WOOL? MOISTURE WICKING It regulates the amount of moisture on your skin by absorbing moisture and sweat. Then evaporates out of the fabric into the atmosphere. INSULATES WHEN WET Wool fibers have a natural crimp, which creates air pockets that trap dead, warm air inside – right next to your skin. BREATHABLE Wool is a classic natural insulator but is just as effective in warmer weather due to its rapid moisture-wicking ability. FIRE RESISTANT It does not readily catch fire. If it does, it self-extinguishes. When Merino burns, it doesn’t melt and stick to the skin like synthetic fabrics do.
