Quick version;Great value and quality. Bought one for myself, and once I played it, I bought another one to gift my son.Long Version;I have been a musician for about 20 years now. Bass, guitar and drums. Performed local gigs, bar scene cover bands and opening for national acts.Wanted a ukulele because they're just fun to play.This ukulele blew me away.Great quality for price. Shopping my local guitar shops i've tried a variety of ukuleles in various price ranges. This one is not the top of the line, but it is comparable to higher priced instruments.Opening the box it is shipped very secure in padded boxes. The gig bag is mid level quality. The padding is not as thick as my pro gig bags I use to take my expensive guitars to shows, but ukeleles are tiny and light so I guess it is plenty.The ukulele itself is beautiful. The wood is cut well and the wood grain looks nice. One of the tuning keys had left over plastic from the mold but was quickly fixed with a quick polishing.No plastic feel that you get with cheap instruments. It is light, but has a certain weight to it that feels like quality.It plays beautifully. No buzzing from fretboard. Strings could use an upgrade, but the supplied strings play well enough, and a casual listener wouldn't tell the difference.I purchased the acoustic/electric model; the set came with a tuner, but the embedded tuner works perfectly.The microphone did not seem to pick up the higher notes as well as lower tones; had to play with the amp settings to get a better sound.All in all, the wood body is great. It was constructed as cheaply as possible while still retaining the quality.I had fun playing it so I bought another acoustic only for my 5 year old.Highly recommend for entry level and casual playing.
