I recall having an instructor using this type of calipers at the fitness center I used to attend. They seem to be well made, fairly sturdy and even includes a weight for "rectification" (calibrating the tension). All housed in a custom fitted storage case. The only downside, is the instructions are a bit confusing when it comes to how and where to check your skin folds. If you already know how to do this, these are good calipers - otherwise, I suspect I'll be looking up some YouTube videos to make sure I'm using it properly.
