Description

The best of both worlds. That was the concept behind the new Taclite Jean Cut Pant. Knowing everyone loves their favorite five pocket jeans AND their 5.11 Taclite Pants our design team figured out a way to bring you the best features of both in one functional pant. Our new 5+4 pocket design adds four multi use pockets that can store magazines, tools, cell phones or knives in addition to the five pocket jean style. Made of our popular 6.14 ounces. poly cotton ripstop, this pant is lightweight, breathable, wrinkle and fade resistant and treated with Teflon, perfect for wash and wear performance. Discreet reinforced knee panels add durability for range utility and the diamond gusset improves range of motion. The Taclite Jean has a relaxed fit with a fixed waistband (no elastic) and a straight leg that easily fits over boots. So if you are looking for a training pant to be a little more professional looking than denim, but dont want to appear too Tactical, the Taclite Jean Cut hits the nail on the head.

These pants are great. Light weight, plenty of pockets without looking like there are plenty of pockets. A great alternative to overtly tactical pants for those situations where you would like the comfort and functionality but don't really need or want cargo/magazine pockets pockets all over. These are great in the office for aloha Fridays, yet I can take them downrange and feel just as comfortable.I read a lot of reviews here regarding sizing. As there seemed to be some opinions going both ways as to buying size normal, or size down I began with size normal. I usually wear a 32x32, my waist is actually a 31, but as many makers don't offer this size I err on the up size. This did make the pants a bit baggy in the butt, still functional and it really isn't that much, just a bit more when compared to what I am used to. I ordered a pair of 30x32s and they did remedy the butt situation, waist fit fine, fit was noticeably slimmer but with more noticeable ride up at ankles when seated. Both work great, and I wear both regularly. If your size falls as mine does in between offered measurements you may wish to decide to err upwards if you want baggier/looser, or if you prefer a slightly more tailored fit appearance go down. In my situation I wear the smaller size when I wear them in the office, I wear the larger when out and about. Hope this helps.I'm very impressed with these pants. I was wanting something for work (construction management) other than jeans that was just as durable but breathed better. I got that and more from these jean cut 5.11 taclite pants. The durability far exceeded my expectations. I would rather wear these than any jeans I have. I liked this design because it had a similar pocket layout as jeans without the cargo pockets and wore like a pair a jeans would as far as fit. The only reason these do not get a five star rating is due to the fact that the belt loops and slits for the pockets where on the small size. I have four leather belts I interchange with all my jeans with no issue at all but they are a tight fit to get into place with these pants. The pocket openings (slits) are tighter than any pants I own. If I'm wearing gloves and need to access my pockets I have to remove my gloves. I don't have to do that with any of my jeans. Outside those two issues these pants are worth every penny.I really like these pants....this is my third pair. When I bought my initial two pair, the consensus on the reviews were that they ran big, so my initial two pair are 35w. My first pair were in 30 length, and they're a bit too short for me, and my second pair are in 32 length which is about right. Notably, the 35w x 30l fit me well in the waist, but the 35w x 32l are a bit tight. Anyway, I had put on a few pounds, so for this pair I went up an inch in the waist and bought these 36w x 32l. And now these are too long. This is a long way of saying that while I really like the pants...they're comfortable (when you get the right size) and functional without looking like cargo pants or being too "tacti-cool"...that I've found that finding the right size has been more work than I would have thought.I like these. I have 3 pairs and they are all the same size 32x32 but they all 3 feel like different sizes. I have 2 of the dark navy and one of the charcoal. The charcoal fits the best and most natural. The dark navy sizing is strange. I got one pair that's a bit small but tolerable and the other is huge. I have a picture of all 3 and you can see the size difference in all 3.I really like these though. The ripstock fabric is nice and it is also a bit water resistent. I like having those features in pants that are not overly tactical looking. I don't care for cargo pockets which these pants don't have which is nice. The pockets that it does have are very nice. The secondary front pockets are very handy for pens and pocket knives.I would have really loved to give these a 5 star rating but the size inconsistency is just crazy. As stated before, i have purchased and fielded a fair amount of 5.11 pants. I had never worn these and am overall pleased. The fabric is of their usual poly/cotton blend that I think is some of the best around. the pockets are functional and not to large. The only concern is that the thigh area of the pants are a bit tight. If you have big legs, I would look at some other options. They are true to size 32/32 for me, which is always a concern when ordering something new. I think they do the job for what they were intended to and they are as advertised.I couldnt be happier with this product. I started out wearing 511 tac lite pros, and still do for there hard wearing design. Unfortunately while the cargo pockets are useful, and the slant rears are good for other type of EDC gear. The tac lites make you stick out to much in public, as either a servivalist or tacticool type of person. In comes the taclite jean cut. While the cargo pockets are eliminated, and the slant pockets are replaced with a more traditional sewn on jean pocket design. The anonymous factor is quite a bit higher while still being able to carry whatever your situation requires. I would highly recommend these pants for any fans of 511 out there, and will be getting more myself. These are almost excellent pants. Very little to complain about. A lot to like. unlike another reviewer who would have bought a smaller size (he said he has a flat butt) I wish I had bought a bigger size. I do have a butt. But mainly because the front pockets are way too SMALL to get your hands into!!! so a looser pant would help here. as the pocket opening is also tight! I have to push things out the front pocket from the outside! The company I work for now requires us to wear uniforms. UGH. Of course they had us all sized by an actual uniform company, and when I got my pants, they were WAY too baggy in the crotch and butt area. After much searching for something that were not cargo pants (we are not allowed to wear them) I came upon these. Light weight and fairly comfortable. Still a little loose in the crotch/butt area but livable. I wear a 32x34 so that is what I ordered and they fit just fine. I will be getting more of these.Great as. Normal. Been wearing them on task and met all my requirementsEl pantalón esta reducido al menos 2 tallas de la que la etiqueta menciona, tengo mas de 3 pantalones de la misma marca y la diferencia es mas que notable, en este caso nota mala para 5.11, revisen bien las tallas que ofertan o con las que etiquetan la ropa es una decepción recibir este tipo de productosDies ist inzwischen meine zweite Hose von 5.11 und von KLK.
